"Augmentation of Traditional Italian Instruments Project"

2014-2017. C.M. Lerici Grant. Role: principal investigator

This research project is supported by the Fondazione C.M. Lerici. It consists of the technological augmentation (by means of Wireless Sensors Networks) of three musical instruments of the Italian tradition: the ghironda (hurdy-gurdy), the zampogna bagpipe, and the chitarra battente guitar. In particular, the research on the augmentation of the hurdy-gurdy was part of my master degree project in Electronic Music at the Royal College of Music of Stockholm.
